an early christmas deed

i always wanted to join an organization where i would take time off and help people (kids or elders).. but parating nauudlot.. before i was thinking of joining "tzu chi", this chinese organization where they help people, they also do medical missions, my friend works there actually and she is the one encouraging me to join, pero parang ayaw ko dun, i just dont know why..

well, i heard that sheryl, goes to carriedo to teach kids every friday, after which she provides food for them. so, i was thinking of joining her, maybe on the 2nd since my sched is just booked already. i also thought of throwing a christmas treat for them. maybe ask them what gifts do they want to recieve for christmas.. and them maybe i could buy it for them - be like santa to them. my problem is that there are around 400 kids, and i dont know how many i could sponsor...

i always think of something like this every christmas time.. i just wish i'd think of it more often.. i did one also last christmas where i gathered gifts and gave to those kids who had wishes.. ranging from slippers, bag, watches and gave it to them.

now is the time i feel that i should give more since i have been so blessed this year.. i just graduated with honors, had a best thesis award, had a job.. i feel 2005 was my year and this is a way of showing my gratitude for everything.

this christmas defintely is a busy one, i have a lot of things to do pa for the christmas party and preparing for my deed.. but its fine, i like what il be doing, its reason enough.
