more "cake" trip from last week

cakes are such good things and having ice creams makes it more heavenly, but ice cream cakes are defintely the thing that i miss most. well, when i was young, i remember myself getting excited for my birthday becuase i can get a whole ice cream cake from magnolia house in horseshoe.

now, i do get my own whenever i want. well, i've been meaning to try this cake place i have heard which is cake2go, i just thought they are the same as the bakeshops around. but i was surprised when i got to eat it, that these are ice cream cakes. and it was good. my sister who is not a fan of cakes nor ice cream loved it, and asked me if we could go back to get more. i ordered 2 of their best sellers which are: tiramisu and toblerone



well, for my mom's birthday my aunt sent her a cake, a caramel cake with a distict description that says.. not too sweet just right for a caramel cake. it was good. it actually tasted like dulce leche but not that sweet. so if you like that kinda stuff, its best for you to try them. i actually got a number of that place, its called estrel's and it is somewhere in the scout areas of morato.




edna's cakeland



whenever i go home in the province, i'd always pass by edna's cakeland to get delicious baked goods. they have wide-array of products, from baked spaghetti and lasagna to cakes and pastries. but their best sellers are bars, butterschotch bars, brownies, marshamllow brownies, cheese ensaymada, etc. i just love the taste of their baked products. although the down side is that i'd only get these whenever i go back in nueva ecija, which is about twice a year and also when my uncles or aunts arrive from there, i have them as pasalubong. so whenever you go up north, its somewhere in kapitan pepe subdivision in cabanatuan, nueva ecija.
