feast and festivities

its been such a long time since i went out on a friday night.. and usually, my friday night would consist of conprobes here and there. and if i am not working, i'll be home enjoying my home cooked meal. last night was exceptionally different..

we(chery, tracy and i) planned to meet up after a long time of not seeing each other, about a month or so.. we initially planned to have dinner at hyatt in manila meaning that i would be wearing slacks and polo but i was not in the mood for any of it.. thus i went back to wear my old t-shirt, jeans and rubber shoes..
(take note: the dinner in hyatt would be free since cheryl had them as gifts, so we'll have free buffet dinner daw)
i cancelled that one and planned it for next week na lang since it will last til november naman. dinner was at mylk in greenbelt. i was hesitant at first cause i heard bad comments from julette. but nevertheless, i was my "lets-try-it" self, so we did. we ordered: grilled tuna salad P100+, chicken fingers P220, fried tilapia P220, prawn garlic linguine P250.

well, the salad was great. i love the white or goat's cheese maybe that is in there. the prawn garlic linguine was also good. i love oil based pasta, they are so tasty.. and the prawns were really fresh although there were only 2 at the top. the fried tilapia was good too, you know how fried fish absorbs all the oil, therefore it is more fattening.. the tilapia was fine, the sauce and veggies under it was complentary. but the chicken crispers, i recommend you get it na lang from chili's,, hindi masarap yung chicken nila. blech. (sori, i had no pictures, my cel/cam's lenses were madumi pa, so not good pictures)

after a satisfying dinner, that left us full stomachs.. we were all trying to find sweets. and after going through the whole greenbelt (cbtl, starbucks, seattle's, bizu, global cafe).. we finally decided to get dessert it in m cafe. i remember we tried to have dinner there the last time but it was full and we settled for bizu. but now, it really has to push through..

mocha blended coffee P110, guava sherbet P98, pastillas cheesecake P185. i love their cheesecake, it has one huge slice. most of all, i loved their plates.. cool!





anyway, we were talking about christmas.. and decided to have a christmas dinner for our barkada ("12").. we were thinking if we are gonna be complete, but im guessing not. people nowadays are just so hard to find. thus we had a bet, that if 8 or more shows up, i win.. and if its less than 8, they win! im still currently thinking of what to get as my prize.. but both cheryl and tracy already knew what they wanted from me. tracey wanted me to bring her to a nice,good dessert place which is not hard at all.. easy. but with cheryl's consequence.. i need to go with them to a gimik (the partying til dawn type).. she really drives me crazy, she knew that i hated that kind of gimik. nevermind, i know i will win this bet.

anyways, i suggested we go to enye(rockwell) for our xmas dinner. havent tried this though, but i heard they have good roasted chicken.
