cheap and cheerful chinese restos

this post is dedicated to ever growing number of chinese restaurants around the metro. in this post, i am not talking about chowking, north park nor gloria maris.. this reto's are offers the best food, meaning delicious, yet inexpensive cuisines.. and i have explored them all with the help of my family.

polland's - ku chay ah
this may look and sound weird but i swear its good. its like chicken pie, but there's no chicken so more liek a pie. its all vegtable inside, carrots, to potatoes... basta all veg... im sure kaye wouldnt dare eat this.

ma mon luk
ma mon luk is an old old family tradition, it has only one branch in banawe in quezon city, and it offers the best noodle soup in town. at first, it may taste really bland, but you gotta put their sauce. that is the magical thing about it, it makes everything good. believe me. ifyou were given a chance to do somwethnig with your car, you better go there na din. its worth it, although there is no aircon.

jona's
jona's started out as a small pares/mami house, and now - they have their own building already. starting from scratch huh? well, these are the few thnigs they offered. (siopao, beef and chicken noodle supreme, and of course the famous pares) their noodle supreme i think cost for about P80 which is cheap cause it fed 2 people. the pares was P68, its cheap na din, and its good. their broth was so good that i asked for extra.
