cafe monaco

one would guess that when i/we would order longsilog, tosilog or tapsilog, it would be for breakfast, but no.. this was for dinner.
cafe monaco has always been my favorite hang out place, cause i feel comfy there, sometimes too comfy! i go there with my pair of slippers, shorts and my over-laking shirt. i can go there with anyone and anytime. they have these couches where i can put up my legs and sit comfortably. i discovered that place when i was still in college, about 5 years ago. M and I would always go there for kwentos, i would usually eat korean to pinoy foods while M would go there to smoke and drink iced tea!
i love their tapsilog and longsilog - defintely the best garlic rice i ever tested. i also like their bibimbop - this korean dish/rice just blends well. i love the spinach and togue mixed with all korean flavorings and seafood - only problem is carbo loading to, its good for 2! i share with my mom! i am not a big fan of mango, but their mango crepe was just surprisingly good! my brother ordered it and i was there for the "tikiman" part lang, pero to masarap pala siya. they also have sizzling bangus, na good for 4 people na ata yun. i better try that too... all their coffee and lattes are good, their ice cream desserts are lovely too.

well, here are some photos to share.. the ambiance is just what i need and what i always look for. hindi siya parang fast food na kailangan mo na kagad umalis, you can stay ang lounge there for as long as you want. they also play great music, jazz type para makapahinga at relax la talaga. the service is personal, and i know na the people there. the price naman is cheap na din.. their tapsilog and tosilog, would be mga P65-70. Their rice meals go up to P150. Their crepes about P90.
always the place i go to if i want to rest-cum-eat! haha!
